Rotherham United have announced which players have been retained and who will be released from the club.
Released:
- Laurence Bilboe (Goalkeeper) signed in July 2016
- Julien Lamy (Left Winger) signed in July 2019
Laurence Bilboe came through the Millers Academy. He signed his first pro contract in 2016.

In talks on a new contract:
- Lewis Price (Goalkeeper) signed in July 2016
- Billy Jones (Right Back) signed in July 2018
Lewis Price joined the Millers in 2016 after leaving rivals Sheffield Wednesday 
Billy Jones left Sunderland in 2018 and joined a newly promoted Millers
Returning to Parent club:
- Daniel Iversen (Goalkeeper) parent club: Leicester City
- Dan Barlaser (Midfielder) parent club: Newcastle United
- Hakeeb Adelakun (Right Winger) parent club: Bristol City
- Josh Koroma (Striker/Left Winger) parent club: Huddersfield Town
Daniel Iversen arrived on loan from Leicester City in July 2019 
Dan Barlaser arrived from Newcastle United in July 2019 after signing a new contract with the parent club 
Hakeem Adelakun’s Loan from Bristol City was a short one. Arriving in January 2020, he inherited the No.14 shirt from departing Carlton Morris 
Josh Koroma was another short loan. Arriving in January 2020 on loan from Huddersfield Town

- Jerry Yates (Striker) One year extension
