Rochdale v Rotherham United- Match Report

Rotherham United suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Rochdale.

A late Jamie Lindsay strike proved only a consultation as the Millers had a shocking performance at Spotland which resulted in a 3-1 defeat.

The millers never really settled as Rochdale hunted for the double over Rotherham after their 0-1 at New York stadium earlier in the season.

Ian Henderson opened the scoring for the home team in the first half. He converted again in the second half with no reply from the Millers.

Matthew Lund finished the scoring for the home team, making it 3-0, the first time Rotherham had a score line of that number against them since Solihull.

There would be no great comeback this time as a late Jamie Lindsay strike in added time proved to be a consolation.

The players apologised to the fans after the game after a disappointing performance. The next encounter being Southend United at home next Saturday.
