There’s something about a home game and a couple drinks with your mates that makes a weekend worthwhile.
However, let’s jump into the P&P review for the home of the Mighty Millers. I went for the bottle of Heineken, plastic is all the rage these days and it seems very popular with Miller fans as I had one out the cupboard. A little bit warm, but still compliments the pie nicely. The bottle is priced at £4, a little steep, considering it’s just under a pint. A pint of Carling in Elliot’s is £3 in comparison. But not bad.
The pie I went for was Steak and Kidney. Excellent in my option. Not too soggy at the bottom, nice and crispy on to. A good pukka pie with a good helping of meat.
New York P&P rating 8/10
