Palmer contract terminated

Matt Palmer was recalled to the AESSEAL New York Stadium today from his loan spell at Bradford City and agreed to mutually cancel his contract with the Millers

Palmer arrived from Burton Albion in January 2018 and won the League One Playoffs that year with the Millers. However, he has since found game time limited with Rotherham and headed to Bradford on loan in the summer of 2019.

Palmer made 24 appearances in total for Rotherham, 14 in League One and 10 in the Championship.

The club put on record that “Everyone at Rotherham United would like to wish Matt all the best for the future”

Edit: Palmer has joined Swindon Town after his contract was terminated at Rotherham. He will link up with Jerry Yates, who is currently on loan at Swindon from the Millers
