The Millers are heavily linked with Blackpool Defender, Curtis Tilt.
Initial plans were in place for Tilt to sign in the summer of 2019. However, Blackpool was taken over by new owners and wanted to keep Tilt, even though a fee and personal terms had been agreed.
Tilt has been a non starter for Blackpool recently and, after beating Rotherham to the signing of Grant Ward, has landed on the Millers radar again.
It is unknown if the deal is agreed.
Clark Robertson has picked up another injury in his recovery and could be out for the season. Warne revealed a centre back target would be a permanent transfer and not a loan.
The Rotherham Advertiser reported the supposed transfer is understood to be from another League One club.
